#Disrupt

Completing a PEACE IV Design Thinking programme delivered by Enterprise North West, local young people have come up with some creative new ideas to motivate teenagers across the City and District, in support of the Youth 19 programme for Derry and Strabane. With £10,000 available for the implementation of a proposed solution to young people having “nothing to do”;  the young people pitched their ideas to a panel.

Take Back the Streets – Youth Street Art

Take Back The Streets programme seen In Your Space Circus team up with Uv Arts, JumpNI and Create Dance to deliver a brand new Summer Academy to Derry-Londonderry as part of the exciting new Street Arts Festival, REWIRE.

Funded by DCSDC & Peace IV and grounded in good relations work, this programme offered FREE training in:

  • CIRCUS
  • PARKOUR
  • GRAFFITI &
  • DANCE

Youth Zone

The Youth Zone will give young people aged 12-24 the opportunity to take the lead in consulting with their peers, research existing shared space and youth zone models and the chance to work with a consultant who will develop the feasibility study and business case.
